Trean is headquartered in Wayzata, Minnesota, with branch offices in Kansas City and Las Vegas, plus satellite offices in Costa Mesa, California and Brookfield, Connecticut. Trean was originally formed in 1996 by individuals with decades of experience in reinsurance brokering, underwriting and insurance company management. It was founded on the belief that experience, superior technical abilities and creativity will deliver a better value proposition than the standardized products and bureaucracy of our larger competitors.
