• HP Yogis are a somewhat motley, fun-loving, sweat-dependent Tribe...we a collective re-membering of an Ancient warrior caste of spiritually-oriented seekers. Often, we are outdoor athletes or performing artists by nature - dirty, bloodied, calloused, and sometimes wounded warriors and warrioresses.One of our commonalities is that we understand the singular intimacy with and importance of say, a pinon tree gamely rooted within a sandstone spire as we rock climb past it toward a sunlit summit. Our philosophy begins with my own chi-ldhood within the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.There, i was literally raised (emotionally and spiritually) by a wolf hybrid, Apache.Apache taught me the most pivotal aspects of ancient mountain yoga; He taught me very simple things, that our mother is Earth, our father is Sky.Our grandfather is Sun (Ha) and our grandmother is Moon (Tha).We are, simply, Ha-tha Yogis in a most sincere and simple sense in this confused, Kali Yuga time. You will find an unmistakable sense of refreshing chi within our Tribe.
