We are owned and managed by people with disabilities and we bring this first-person perspective to every product and service. We can remodel your current situation, or manage new construction for both residential and commercial properties. We create and design accessible bathrooms, ramps, stair glides, wheelchair lifts, grab bars, and automatic door openers. All our work is compliant with the American with Disabilities Act, as well as local codes and standards. It's your home, not a nursing home!Roy Miller, owner of Aardvark, previously owned a third generation contracting company that had been doing business in the Pittsburgh area for over 100 years. After suffering a severe disability, Roy was frustrated trying to find a person to come and install specific hardware in his house, only to find that what was installed wasn't functional or convenient to his needs. He decided that there had to be an easier way. Roy met Jim Costello, who also suffered a severe disability a few years earlier. Jim was doing design work for people with disabilities at the time. Together Jim and Roy decided to form Aardvark to help our clients achieve a barrier free, and independent lifestyle.
