This is Beshs first restaurant outside of his home state of Louisiana, and it features a menu of authentic Old World cuisine, combining classic German and French cooking techniques with a New Orleans touch. Lüke is conveniently situated in San Antonios popular downtown district.In keeping with Chef John Beshs commitment to supporting local food-ways, menus feature locally sourced ingredients, from Texas-raised chicken and seasonal vegetables, to locally brewed beer and Gulfcaught fish. Executive Chef John Russ approaches his work with dedication to those locally raised ingredients and high quality, honest service. The restaurant is spacious but the interior is warm and welcoming. The upstairs private dining room has a sweeping view of the beautiful San Antonio river and a balcony that overlooks the river and Houston Street.
