• Avatar Corporation, founded in 1982, is a manufacturer and marketer of products for the food, drug and personal care industries. Our products are produced to the highest quality standards in full compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).To support the growing needs of the industries we serve, Avatar Corporation commissioned our current facility in University Park, IL in 1998. This state of the art 23-acre facility is dedicated to producing our products to the highest levels of purity and performance for our valued customers.Our products meet U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations and are certified OK Kosher. Many are certified Halal by the Islamic Food and Nutrition of America (IFANCA), (NSF) H-1, 3H by NSF International and Organic by Quality Assurance International (QAI). As an industry leader in specialty release agents and lubricants, all Avatar food grade/sanitary lubricants are produced with ingredients that comply with FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570, Lubricants with incidental food contact for use in and around food processing areas. Avatar food grade/sanitary lubricants are non-toxic and safe, thus their use can be eliminated as a critical control point in HACCP programs.Avatar Corporations continued commitment to food safety is demonstrated by our SQF Registration, Level 3, Excellent Rating. SQF is part of the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). Along with customer, FDA API and other quality audits, Avatar continues to place special emphasis on the production and packaging of exceptionally high-quality products and ingredients with strict adherence to our internal quality control protocols.Avatar Corporation also offers services such as toll manufacturing, contract packaging and custom blended product(s) to assist our customers in their product needs and production processes by using our efficiencies to streamline our customers marketing initiatives.
