- Established in 2006, the Gallatin Ice Foundation (GIF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has spearheaded efforts to raise funds for the expanded recreational and competitive skating experience the community desires. Aligning forces of all ice users as well as the hockey and figure skating clubs, it has diligently focused on raising funds for a second ice sheet adjacent to the current rink at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. OUR MISSION: The Gallatin Ice Foundation funds the expansion of refrigerated ice facilities for the health and wellness of our communities. OUR VISION: The vision of the GIF is to provide the Gallatin Valley with a year-round refrigerated ice rink and support the growth of ice programing for youth and adults of our community.
