• The mission of the Virtual Sports Academy is to create and provide professional sports training, guidance, fitness and nutrition information and sporting equipment at no cost to people of all income levels. Our guiding principle is that many young people would benefit from professional sports instruction. But, many families do not have the income to put those kids in sports camps, purchase sporting equipment, and/or purchase sports training videos and DVDs. We believe that a lack of income should not be a determining factor in deciding a young persons fitness and heath. Our vision is to eliminate childhood obesity. Our goal is to make a difference. Our strategy includes providing a variety of computer-based nutrition and fitness training options for young people using video-streaming from internet sites that young people can access through home computers, school computers, library computers, etc. and download to portable electronic devices. VSA also gives away free sporting equipment to young people, and creates leverage with other like-minded people and organizations.
