• The National Alliance on Mental Illness NH (NAMI NH) is a grassroots organization of and for people of all ages, their families and friends who are affected by mental illness.We believe that people with mental illness or emotional disorders and their families should have insurance coverage and access to comprehensive, integrated health care and community-based supports without discrimination or stigma.Through NAMI NH, you'll meet other individuals and family members who have struggled with mental illness. We come together, in a safe and comfortable setting, to share each other's pain, promote hope and build a better tomorrow for our loved ones and ourselves.Our strength comes from members, so please Join Us as we work to improve the lives of all people in New Hampshire who are affected by mental illness.In addition to educating and supporting families we provide training to professionals and paraprofessionals who work with those affected by mental illness and suicide. These individuals and groups include but not limited to teachers, mental health providers, law enforcement personnel, military, and long term care providers.
