- Overdrive Logistics Inc was founded in 1998 by Rickey Tatum and Gary Copeland. Having known each other from their days of taking flying lessons together, they decided to form a partnership and open a freight brokerage company. Their first week produced 11 loads, and for 2012 Overdrive hauled over 10,000 loads, most coming from Fortune 500 companies. Starting out with fresh and frozen chicken producers, Overdrive is very capapble of handling the high profile high maintenance loads that have to be there. Overdrive consistently scores at or near the top on customer scorecards for on time delivery, load acceptance and system updates. Rickey and Gary currently have about 25 coworkers most of which are in Gainesville, with 2 customer service locations in Roanoke,VA and Allentown,PA.
