• Vogel Design is a graphic design studio based in Hillsboro, Kansas, specializing in web design, app development and a wide range of graphic design services.David B. Vogel is an award-winning graphic designer based in Hillsboro, Kansas. As a child he branded and created signage for his summertime start-up, Yellow Giraffe Lemonade, and has been passionate about design, web development, new technologies and marketing ever since.Vogel focused on art, design and publishing in high school, and received recognition in 2008 from Music Theatre of Wichita in its Jester Awards program for outstanding graphic/playbill design. He graduated from Tabor College in 2012 with a bachelor of arts in Communications Studies, and minors in Integrated Marketing and English.Before founding his full-time studio, Vogel worked as a graphic designer for Lenexa Christian Center, a megachurch in the Kansas City area, and at the Hillsboro Free Press as a web developer and graphic artist. In 2014, Vogel received two awards from Midwest Free Community Papers for ad design, as did his redesign of the Free Press website.Its no accident that Vogel based his design studio in the heart of small-town Kansas. Creative firms are often out of the financial reach of rural Main Street businesses, he said. My aim is to fill this gap; to provide high quality, effective design and marketing materials at an economical price.
