Description

The Uganda Fistula Fund for TERREWODE (UFFT) was established in 2014 solely to advocate and raise financial support for TERREWODE, a registered Ugandan non-government organization. In 2018 we will begin construction of a dedicated women's hospital in Uganda. This new hospital will transform health care in the region, providing improved maternal and health services for women and children, particularly women suffer from obstetric fistula, a childbirth injury.UFFT is governed by an international Board of Directors and Board of Advisors who work to accelerate TERREWODEs capacity to provide health services to families and other issues related to maternal health. The UFFT Board of Directors pays 100% of expenses incurred by UFFT, transferring donations received to TERREWODE through specific use agreements.
