• Corporate Introduction United Energy Group Co., Ltd. (United Energy) is an energy company listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 00467.HK), with its headquarters in Hong Kong, China. Scope of Business Major Business in China Through working with China National Petroleum Corporation, United Energy has engaged in heavy and thin oil development and technical service by using its fire-flooding technology, which has been patented. The Liaohe Gaosheng block of United Energy operates a joint development project, which is a large fire flooding project in China, with three fire-flooding technical service projects in Liaohe oilfield, Jilin Oilfield etc. Moreover, several block projects are in the testing stage. Major Overseas Business Pakistan In 2011, United Energy acquired the upstream oil-gas assets in Pakistan, which were owned by the South Asia of British Petroleum Co., Ltd. (BP). Currently, it owns nine onshore production blocks and five offshore development blocks in Arabian Sea, with a total oilfield area of 41,003 km2 whereby United Energy becomes the fourth largest oil-gas company listed in HKSE and ranks right after the three largest state-owned oil companies (PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC). United Energy will join the development of the international oil-gas fields by using its unique strength and its fire-flooding technology. This will speed up its acquisition and merger in the international market to realize its unprecedented development.
