The primary departments at iSurity are Claims Case Management, Underwriting and Risk Management. Positions include Medical Only Claims Case Manager, Underwriter, Risk Manager and Management Trainee. Experience in the insurance industry is not required ~ the insurance skills and knowledge can be taught to a successful candidate. The work environment is very fast-paced and employees respond to a wide range of telephone/written inquiries and product/service matters. Claims Case Managers are primarily responsible for investigating, determining compensability and managing workers' compensation claims. Underwriter duties include building and maintaining relationships with contracted independent insurance agents. Underwriters review submissions, prepare premium quotations and review accounts for renewal. Risk Management Representatives develop and administer risk management and safety & loss programs, conducts site surveys and work very closely with both the Claims and Underwriting departments.
