- Day Air Credit Union, a not-for-profit, full-service financial institution that serves businesses and residents of the Dayton community in southwest Ohio. In addition to our six full-service locations, credit Union members have access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs and shared branches nationwide. Day Air Credit Union was founded in 1945, by 26 employees of the United States Air Force Depot - Gentile Station (later known as DESC); who came together as a group to help each other improve their individual financial situations. After much discussion, the original members decided to combine the words Dayton and Air Force creating the name we know, Day Air.Over the years our continued growth has enabled us to evolve as a full service financial institution. Our members can choose from a wide variety of financial products and services. From first mortgages and car loans to online account access and investment services, Day Air Credit Union continues to offer our members the tools they need to manage their finances effectively. Day Air's field of membership includes anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in 9 counties. This community charter allows us to offer our products, services, and educational opportunities to the Dayton area.With assets over $325 million, and over 35,000 members nationwide, Day Air Credit Union continues to strive to help each individual member meet their personal financial goals. We want our community and our members to think of their credit union first for all their financial needs.
