- Eco Farms were among the pioneers for organically growing Avocados and Citrus in Northern San Diego County. After Purchasing additional property in the mid 1970's, Eco Farms began to out grow their small scale packing operation in northern San Diego County and purchased property in Temecula. This is where they opened the first commercial Avocado packing house in Riverside County in 1978. Eco Farms now owns more than 700 acres of Avocado and Citrus groves throughout California and have also expanded their business to include imported Avocados from Mexico, Chile and Peru both Organic and Conventionally grown. These partnerships allows Eco Farms to provide fresh, high quality Avocados year round. Eco Farms is a Grower, Packer, Distributor and Importer of Fresh, High Quality Organic and Conventional Avocados as well as Organic Citrus.
