• MissionWe partner with organizations and individuals globally to meet the needs of trafficking survivors and those who are considered to be at high risk of being trafficked. We partner by providing financial, emotional and spiritual support.CommitmentThe rescue and restoration of victims of Human Trafficking and the elimination of modern-day slaveryPlanTo focus our efforts in 4 main areas: Shelters, Stations (Border Monitoring), Scholarships, & Sustainable Projects.Shelters - Sanctuaries that become loving homes for a family of rescued girls fostering health, stability and self- confidence. 100% of all needs met are free of charge. We support 2 temporary shelters at each border station.Stations (Border Monitoring) - Free for Life now fully partners with PRC at 2 border monitoring stations Krishnanagar (Nepal/India border) and Kodari (Nepal/Tibet border). Since 2010, 510 girls have been rescued through these 2 stations. We also have a border office in a high risk district of Nepal.Scholarships - Scholarships are given to young women that have been victimized by trafficking as well as those considered at high risk. Free for Life gave 56 scholarships to young women to attend the tailoring classes in 2013. We also gave 56 scholarships for sewing machines to be given to each girl upon graduation.Sustainable Projects - Last year Free for life launched our Tailoring program in partnership with PRC consisting of 3 classes through each of our partner border monitoring stations offering 20-25 girls per class the ability to take a 6 month class. This provides the graduate with a sustainable skill to build her new life of freedom with. We are working to open a residential program for victims rescued through border stations. This residential program will teach the skill of tailoring to young women for 6 month period. Three classes have now graduated!
