• PCs 4 Vets is a IRS certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable corporation, a federally registered SDVOSB, and a Microsoft refurbisher that takes in computers, refurbishes and then donates them to veterans and their family members. We include software, (Over 25 free programs) and certification education. We also have a Green initiative that involves business and other organizations in weekend E Waste events, where anyone in the community can drop off e waste for free. So it becomes a community event, a responsible environmental solution, and supports our cause of providing free computers, software, and educational training.to veterans and their families.This Green project also brings transitioning veterans and the community together in a common cause of supporting the environment,....and each other.We currently have free space which is provided by Lockheed Martin, and DeVry University, where we provide classroom and hands on training training for active duty Marines from the Wounded Warrior Battalion located at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego and veterans in San Diego county interested in starting their own business as a recycler or refurbisher. We also have an affiliation with a Veteran Woman's Homeless shelter where we have set up a network, provided free computers, and are beginning training classes that will assist them in becoming employed.
