Our encoders are available worldwide to OEMs, MROs, End Users, Service/Repair Organizations and others through a qualified network of electrical, motion control, and industrial distributors. The Americas Division of EPC, located in Sagle, Idaho, USA, is headquarters for worldwide manufacturing and encoder research and development. To service and support regional markets, EPC also operates manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia.Our products are used in a diverse range of industries, such as: packaging, food and beverage, personal care, automotive, textiles, agriculture, material handling, biomedical, semiconductor, timber and lumber. Additionally, major electric motor manufactures use EPC encoders as their OEM feedback device. EPC has introduced numerous firsts to encoder technology, many of which have been adopted as industry standards, such as the flexible tether mounting system found on almost all thru-bore encoders today. By anticipating and responding to the needs of our customers, we continue to develop and introduce products that offer innovative solutions to challenging motion control applications. As a vertically integrated manufacturer, EPC is able to control the quality and availability of critical encoder components.
