• Paul Bernhard Exhibit Design & Consulting was founded in Houston in 2005 by Paul Bernhard, Jeff Poss and Troy Engel. The abilities of these three experienced individuals combine to create a lean and versatile design / build firm.Paul Bernhard is a writer, producer, designer and exhibit content specialist. Since 1993, Bernhard has worked with the Houston Museum of Natural Science on its Wiess Energy Hall, which features the science and technology of hydrocarbons and other energy sources. Bernhard previously served as a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Commander in 2004.Jeff Poss began his career as designer and lead sculptor for the John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science in 1990. In 1992, Poss launched Double Dog Exhibits where he cultivated a vast portfolio of museum and art installations, and beginning in 2001, Poss worked as a project manager and construction coordinator in the film industry, specializing in large-scale props and immersive environments.Troy Engel is a designer whose museum background began in the early 1990s creating both sculpted exhibits and 3D interactive content. Over the years he has worked in both the film industry and the museum field, specializing in 3D design, animation and fabrication. His background also includes several years in multimedia development in such diverse fields as architectural, corporate, legal, and video game industries.
