Experience matters.Vocademy is the ideal solution for workforce development, an effective retention tool for our educational partners, and provide much needed skills classes for many non-profit organizations.We have witnessed the demise of industrial arts and shop classes over the last few decades. As a result, people with critical hands-on skills in this country have diminished. This has created a massive manufacturing Skills Gap. But not for the lack of people who want or need these skills and knowledge, but for lack of places to learn these skills. Whether it was wood shop, metal shop, auto shop, electronics, or even art classes, it was a place where makers, inventors, and dreamers discovered their maker path. It was the ideal place for those that love to tinker, to take things apart and put them together. These were the starting places for the many people who love to design, to build, and to create! But now these places are very rare, if not completely gone and for many, a personal workshop is not possible. Meanwhile, most companies cannot support internal training programs and trade schools have a very narrow focus. Vocademy is addressing the above issues, helping solve the skills gap, and giving people opportunities to become more valuable to the world. We are planning to expand throughout the US and are looking for strategic academic, corporate, and industry partners.
