• Northwest Kidney Centers is a not-for-profit, locally managed provider of kidney dialysis, public health education and research into the causes and treatments of chronic kidney disease. Founded in Seattle in 1962, it was the world's first dialysis organization. We operate 15 dialysis clinics in western Washingtons King and Clallam counties, provide treatments in local hospitals, and supervise hundreds of home dialysis users. We are the largest dialysis provider in our community, serving 80 percent of the people in our area who need dialysis.Our vision: be the provider of choiceWe want to be the first choice to provide life-sustaining treatment when anyone in our community needs dialysis. We also educate people about preventing kidney disease, and work aggressively to reach a future without kidney health challenges through our collaboration in the Kidney Research Institute.
