- A SENSE OF HOME (ASOH) asenseofhome.org is a new LA-based nonprofit organization that has taken a holistic approach to transform the lives of at-risk foster youth who age out of the system. By creating their first ever homes, ASOH brings together volunteers to serve as a family would. Utilizing donated furniture to make the youths first permanent living space beautiful affords them dignity, self-worth & pride. Each youth pays it forward partaking as a volunteer creating another youths home, becoming further immersed in the community, learning from healthy role models who can open up educational & career opportunities.
