We began our start-up operations in 1995. We currently produce more than 1.4 million tons of hot band coils on an annual basis. We are a major recycler of millions of tons of scrap metal each year. Nucor Steel Gallatin's manufacturing facility features a twin-shell DC electric arc furnace, a ladle metallurgy facility, a thin-slab continuous caster and a six-stand hot finishing mill.We have achieved ISO/TS 16949 Certification - the highest international quality benchmark for manufacturers. This certification demonstrates our commitment to supplying a quality product.Producing coils up to 1050 PIW from 42.5 to 64 inches wide at various gauge and grades, we tailor make our products to satisfy our customers' needs.Our steel manufacturing facility is located along the banks of the Ohio River on U.S. 42 in Gallatin County, Kentucky, USA.
