• LAFAZA offers high-quality Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans, extracts, and ground vanilla powder to retail and food industry customers. We are proud to partner directly with a growing network of Madagascar producer cooperatives to source all-natural vanilla beans and and other spices safely, ethically, and sustainably. Our pure ground vanilla and single- and double-fold extracts highlight the deep Bourbon vanilla flavor of forest-grown LAFAZA vanilla beans. We serve a variety of customers, including home chefs, foodservice businesses, food manufacturers, and others who appreciate high-quality natural vanilla flavor. We are committed to sustainability in our supply chain. Two co-founders first lived and worked with vanilla grower cooperatives as Peace Corps volunteers. We remain passionate about building capacity and environmental stewardship among rural grower communities. LAFAZA projects have received support from the Swedish Innovations Against Poverty Grant Program, IFC's PEP Export Program in Madagascar, U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization, and through Conservation International's Verde Ventures Program.LAFAZA also offers FOB export shipments of vanilla beans (all grades) and other Madagascar whole spices and spice powders from the Eastern port city of Tamatave, Madagascar.
