- The Annie Lee Jones Foundation was founded in February of 2012 and was officially launched in March of 2012. The foundation, a New Jersey Non-Profit Corporation, was founded in memory of the late Mother Annie Lee Jones, a mogul of Plainfield, New Jersey, who truly enjoyed and had passion towards helping others. Our mission is dedicated to empowering the youth and creating development events, for both the community and the youth. In 2012, we raised close to $1, 000 for our first annual Stuff the Bus Drive, where we distributed 128 book bags filled with school supplies. Our fundraising efforts were in support of our Annual Walk-a-thon, Annual Charity Bowl for Students and various companies who donated supplies. The Annie Lee Jones Foundation is committed to empowering the youth and truly believe that students should not be academically derailed because they do not have the proper necessities, such as paper and pencils. We have taken on the obligation as a community based foundation to enriching the lives of others.
