Mark Laibe (Al Laibe's only son & 2nd generation) joined the company in 1972 and after many years of learning all aspects of the business and industry, started the VERSA-DRILL brand of drilling rigs in 1989. Jim Hopkins joined the company in 1999 in sales and quickly rose to the ranks of President & CEO. It was Al's vision, Mark's leadership, Jim's leadership / innovation that vaulted Laibe Corporation to the worldwide industry leader they are today. The company added Martin Wright as the CFO in 2008 which further solidified the senior management team of Mark, Jim, & Martin. The future looks bright as Marcus Laibe (3rd generation) joined the company in 2010. Laibe Corporation is proud to remain a privately held business that is owned by The Laibe Family & Jim Hopkins.
