But few are aware that the biggest impact we can have is by reducing the amount of waste we create in the first place. Spare Food is a culinary innovation company committed to a post-food waste world. We reduce food waste at farms and processors by capturing overlooked and unused ingredients. Using the innovative culinary skills of our co-founder, Chef Adam Kaye (formerly Culinary Director at Blue Hill), we transform these "lost" ingredients into delicious value-add products and dishes that we sell to foodservice, hospitality and restaurant partners, and (soon) directly to consumers.
