• Founded in 1975, the Family Co-Op Nursery School of Cinnaminson, NJ is a non-profit, cooperative preschool for children ages 3-4. We offer a quality early education that focuses on academic and social growth. A cooperative preschool allows you to be directly involved with your childs education. Parents and other family members volunteer their time monthly to join the classroom and assist the teachers and students. Parental jobs may include running a craft, handing out snack, helping to clean up, general supervision, and assisting the teacher in demonstrating a lesson. Outside of the classroom, parents assist in other areas such as fundraising and advertising. The Family Co-Op is governed by The Board of Trustees, made up of volunteer parents of enrolled students. This group of parents, along with the teachers and the directors, manage the school as a team to ensure its success. As part of a cooperative school, you have the opportunity to interact with a community of other families who share your commitment to education and social growth. Most importantly, being part of a cooperative preschool allows you to spend more time with your child, to learn from each other, and create memories together. Your child will learn the importance and value of education because you are such an integral part of it.
