- Paws for Praise, owned and operated by Anne Springer, B.S., PCT-A, is a dog training and behavior consulting business located in Danvers, Massachusetts. Anne is a founding member of the Pet Professional Guild, the international business organization for force free pet professionals. She served on their Steering Committee from 2012-2015, and currently serves on the Education and Marketing Committees. Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Committee of the Essex Agricultural and Technical High School's Companion Animal Program. Anne Springer received her bachelor's degree from Salem State University, with honors, and is a life member of the Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society. She is accredited with the Pet Professional Accreditation Board and has decades of dog handling experience which she combines with her formal education to provide dog training and behavior services in a fun and supportive environment. She founded the Dog Behavior Daily blog, and associated Twitter/Facebook pages.Anne formerly worked in the non-profit arena and in the heavy trucking industry. She's logged more than a million safe miles driven, and has also founded the Exladytrucker blog and associated Twitter/Facebook pages.
