Elephant Energys mission is to improve the quality of life in developing communities by pioneering ventures that provide access to appropriate sustainable energy technologies.Livelihood activities can be made easier, safer, environmentally cleaner, and more efficient with the help of sustainable technologies like solar-powered lights, radios, and efficient cookstoves. Elephant Energy aids off-grid entrepreneurs in sustainable business ventures to power their communities. Elephant Energy was founded by Doug Vilsack, a young Colorado environmental lawyer with extensive experience working in Namibia.
