• Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) is a rural, critical access hospital located at 1500 South Main in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. The City of Eaton Rapids is centrally located between Lansing, Jackson and Battle Creek. ERMC defines its primary service area as Eaton Rapids, Springport and Onondaga.Twenty licensed beds provide inpatient and surgical patients the privacy needed to recover while allowing our highly-trained and experienced staff the privilege of delivering compassionate, innovative care. Our medical/surgical unit is also home to our Swing Bed Program which provides comprehensive, hospital-based skilled care and rehabilitation. Even if a patient has received inpatient care or surgery at another hospital, ERMC can provide Swing Bed care. We also offer laboratory, diagnostic imaging and 24-hour emergency services.Our emergency department features ten private rooms, including trauma, decontamination and isolation rooms that are designed for privacy, comfort and personal attention. Family quiet rooms are also available. The experienced primary care professionals at our rural health clinics specialize in care for the entire family. Our Family Practice, Redicare and Springport Medical Clinic are certified walk-in treatment centers for when unexpected health concerns arise.Physicians come from the Lansing and Jackson areas to hold a variety of specialty clinics at ERMC. Cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, gynecology and ophthalmology are just a few of the specialties offered. A sleep center, nuclear medicine services, wide-bore MRI and CT are among the many diagnostic tools available. HealthWorks, our fitness and rehabilitation center, offers a whole-body approach to wellness. During the summer months, our weekly farmers market promotes healthier eating habits for employees and the community while supporting local merchants.
