Heidi holds a bachelor's degree in English (from OWU) and a master's degree in journalism (from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at OU) with a concentration in magazine and photo editing. Her stories and photographs have been seen in publications such as Western Horseman, Horse & Rider, The Trail Rider, and America's Horse. She served as Assistant Editor at Horse & Rider. Her photos have won multiple titles including awards from the Equine Photographer's Network and a first place AIM Award. Her photos of dogs and horses can also be seen on Nutramax/Cosequin product labels and marketing. As a horsewoman, Heidi began studying Brain Gym® and became a registered instructor with PATHi®. She has presented demos at Equine Affaire and at the National Youth Horse Council Annual Conference. She directs and produces the popular RFD-TV show, Horse Master with Julie Goodnight and works with Goodnight as she teaches horse owners around the country.
