• American Building Supply - ABS - is one of the Nations largest Wholesale Distributors and Manufacturers of quality Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork. We proudly manufacture products under the registered trademarks of Millennium Door® and Doormerica® Products. With locations in California, Arizona, Washington, Georgia, Colorado, Texas, and Hawaii, ABS is an industry leader in the business-to-business material supply chain for door-related products. ABS began in 1985 through the purchase of a small family owned building products company in Sacramento, California. To differentiate ABS from the competition, we adopted an overnight loading program that enabled us to guarantee next day delivery on most products. This philosophy carved our niche in the market and set a new service standard for the industry. With this success came growth and soon ABS expanded operations to Southern California. To further expand the companys growth and success, manufacturing was added to the wholesale distribution business in 1989, which provided greater flexibility and an expanded product offering. In 2000, ABS became the largest wholesale door supplier in the West and over the next few years added other product lines and several new facilities. Today, ABS and its employees operate 7 distribution centers and 4 manufacturing facilities in 7 states serving over 1,500 regular commercial customers. We also maintain our own delivery fleet of over 60 trucks that safely drive over 3 million miles per year. Our growth and continued success would not have been possible without our talented employees, valued customers and supplier partners who have been with ABS throughout the years.
