Anza is a startup nonproft that has designed a cart to enable farmers to carry goods more efficiently, freeing time for women to start small businesses and children to attend school. In a year-long pilot, 30 Tanzanian families used the Anza Cart to double their incomes.Harnessing mass production, IKEA-style flatpack design, targeted sales through local NGO partners, and an ultra-affordable price point, Anza will help 1 million farmers lift themselves out of poverty in the next 5 years.
