The Get Well Place is one of only approximately 300 emergency backup facilities in the United States....Programs for children with learning challengesUsing a team approach, experts from the community, parents, and Rainbow Station teachers and nurses work together to maximize each child's learning potential through individualized educational interventions....Care for children with chronic or special health needsCurrently, children with medical needs represent approximately ten percent of the enrolled student population. Depending on their medical condition and the required level of nursing supervision, we admit children with special needs directly to the classroom or to the Get Well Place.
