• Lumei was started in the fall of 2014 in the city of Shanghai, China, and recently launched operations in the United States. Lumei provides car buying, car sales, insurance, DMV assistance, shuttle services, legal services, housing services and discounts to partner companies. Lumei is a concierges service for the over 310,000 Chinese students coming to study in the United States every year. Over 60% of these students are buying a new or used car within their first year in the US, with an average of 1.6 vehicles purchased during their 4 years in the US.
