Marin and Harry Williams formed Patterson State Bank by purchasing the assets of the Union Bank which was located in Patterson, Louisiana. Marin and Williams ran the bank conservatively and put personal customer service at the top of their priority list when dealing with bank customers. Personal customer service is still what makes our bank stand out even today.Since 1925, we have been committed to helping the people and businesses in our market realize their dreams by providing them with tailored financial solutions. Whether that dream is to own or expand a business, buy or build a new home, or save for the future, we work side by side by our customers to do all we can to make those dreams come true.In 1975, we were the first bank in our market to introduce an ATM and this was just the beginning of a new era of banking and we have been first to our market with each new advancement over the years. Our team is actively involved in community outreach efforts which span across a wide array of needs. We work alongside local organizations, non-profits as well as schools and athletic teams to make positive changes everyday. Although banking has changed over the years, the founding principles on which our growth and prosperity have been built remain part of our DNA.  Our current day bankers are still being mentored and molded by the leadership qualities and commitment to service displayed by Harry Williams and E.F. Marine.  We believe that we can only look ahead by being reminded of the traditions behind us; and we will never forsake our dedication to the principles on which we were founded.  The way we see it, weve had a good thing going for four generations and well continue to work hard to preserve it.
