• Awakening Voices is a nonprofit, online, entertainment network for non-violent programming and social action. The good part is all our programming is free. Awakening Voices has four compelling channels: Movies, Ordinary Heroes, Youth Out of the Box and Be a Voice. The idea is to do our part in shifting how we view entertainment. Movies channel, is strictly about watching movies and having fun, and features quality, independent and studio films that fit our mission: entertaining, thought-provoking, non-violent. The Ordinary Heroes channel is where our social actions begins. It elevates viewer experience through stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. You won't just nod as a viewer; you are immediately tapped into a social media platform where you can get involved with the click of a button. The Youth Out of the Box channel, features professionally produced, non-violent programming for youth of all ages. But it also has a second channel for programming produced by youth that focuses on issues important to them. We offers a forum where young people, from around the globe, can connect, share ideas and create non-aggressive content and community service projects. Tying it all together is our Be a Voice channel. With programming from the Ordinary Heroes' channel providing a catalyst, viewers have access to an interactive, Be a Voice forum where they learn and share ideas on how to make lasting change, and feature videos documenting their efforts as social change agents.
