- Specdrums are smart rings that transform the world's colors into sound to bring music to everyones fingertips. The company was founded in January, 2016 by Steven Dourmashkin and Matthew Skeels, two Cornell University Mechanical Engineering students, with the ultimate goal of allowing people of all musical backgrounds to create music. Currently, Specdrums is finalizing product development on their rings and preparing to launch their Kickstarter campaign in order to help fund outsourced manufacturing.
