- Additive Advisory and Capital, LLC (Additive), an SEC-Registered Investment Advisor, represents a combined 75+ years of derivatives-centric investment experience and expertise. Both within the derivatives market and beyond, Additive aims to help the firms with which we partner solve their most complex problems. Additive works with sophisticated institutional investors and family offices, on a fully customized basis, offering expertise and infrastructure in: 1) Derivatives-centric portfolio consulting: Utilizing a collaborative approach, Additive assesses overall portfolios and/or focuses on discrete, pre-identified problems/ questions in order to develop, propose, and implement derivatives-based solutions. 2) New product development and implementation: Additive fosters emerging managers interest in providing attractive risk-adjusted returns via non-directional (market uncorrelated) strategies. We selectively partner with such managers in order to collaborate with them on new product/fund launches. When working with established investment firms, through our hosted hedge fund model, Additive deploys the same portfolio-management and risk-exposure expertise as it does in its consulting model but appends the role of portfolio manager and investment advisor, with our client/ partner serving in a lead, co-advisor, or subadvisor capacity. 3) Outsourced Operations: Additive provides our partners optimized and customized solutions via our tool kit of cloud-based IT capabilities while also enacting optimized and customized policies, processes and procedures to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant operational solutions. Additive's mission is to apply our expertise in financial derivatives to develop and implement solutions to partners' business and portfolio challenges, while sustaining our firm by attracting and retaining exceptional talent with exceptional character.
