With more than 18 years in business, U3As core practice is serving nonprofit institutions during the planning and predevelopment phases of complex real estate projects. With a growing staff of 20 professionals, U3A currently has offices in New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Memphis. U3A is the result of the 2014 merger of K. Backus & Associates and U3 Ventures, two real estate and economic development consulting firms with long and successful histories assisting universities, nonprofit organizations, and other anchor institutions.
